An exclusive photo expeditions to western Iberia as we will have the opportunity to visit two private properties specially developed for nature tourism and included in the INNATE Network.

We will lodge in a magnificent “casa rural” inside one of the 2 properties, La Parrilla estate, that is placed at the top of an hill from where to enjoy a stunning panorama and relax in the garden with

vultures, swallows and other possible species flying just over you head!

During this spanish expedition, we will have the possibility of photographing many of the most typical birds of the Spanish dehesa made of Evergreen, Pyrenean and Cork oaks.

Placed along the estate professional photographic hides will be available for morning and afternoon photo sessions.

Among the species that will be possible to photograph, first of all the raptors, starting with vultures: hundreds of Griffon and Cinereous Vultures, together with Ravens and Black and

Red Kites, in flight, perched, fighting or feeding quite often only a few meters away from the windows of the hides.

But also mammals, like Genet, Beech Marten and Red Fox, with the aid of state-of-the-art night hides, and a huge number of small passerines like Blue Rock-thrush, Woodchat Shrike, Iberian Magpie, Spotless Starling, Rock Sparrow, Hawfinch and Cirl Bunting.

Excursion will be made to visit the famous Monfrague National Park, being La Parrilla estate in part inside its borders.

We will also visit a second private property, Las Vinas estate, with photo hides inside to enrich even more the portfolio of western Iberia species that you will bring home.
