BULGARIA
BULGARIA - SHORT BREAK
One of the most enigmatic birds in the whole plane is the Wallcreeper with its butterfly-like flight, color pattern, amazingly unexpected call and habitat.
Bulgaria’s population is estimated to about 350 pairs and in the south of the country near the Greek border lies the stronghold of the species in the country.
Trigrad gorge is arguably one of the best places in Europe to see the Wallcreeper.
Here we can see this beauty from a very close distance and enjoy its behavior.
The area is also home to Rock Bunting, Rock rush, Black Redstart, Alpine Swi , Black and Grey-headed woodpeckers and many more attractive species.
